In the Name of God
“So there lay their houses, fallen in ruin”
(THE HOLY QURAN: AL-NAML: 52)
The attack of Zionist occupying forces on the flotilla carrying humanitarian aid for the innocent and driven people of Gaza, which lead to the killing and wounding of philanthropic civilians, has left us all in bewildered sadness and grief.
I, in my own turn, while expressing strong disapproval of the vicious and savage attack against a population so driven, ask all freedom loving peoples, human rights activists, international foundations, and all governments to make a stand, as is their sworn mission, and stand united in the condemnation and conviction of the initiators and the instigators of such abhorrent acts.
It is thus a burden upon all peoples to stand enjoined as a front, pressing their governments to take action preparing the grounds for restraining the forces that dare to act so arrogantly with blatant force of arms against humanity, driving it to political and economic seclusion.
It should be made clear for all that the calamities and crisis ensuing from an occupation force sanctified on a belief that sees the act of purging as purification, is not only aimed at the people of Palestine, all Muslims, and their very first Qibla, but its direction targets all humanity, as it is one of the symbols of corruption and immorality on God’s earth.
In the presence of such discernible proof of corruption -be it even as a remote possibility, any such motives as dissimulation and political expediency by those governments in power is impermissible and haraam, and these occupying forces should be stopped and confronted.
To give one’s life, on a holy mission as the fight against such an enemy is to be placed perched up in heaven among those who receive their daily bread by divine providence, as promised by Allah the Almighty, “and they are provided for near the Lord (THE HOLY QURAN: AL-IMRAN: 169).”
